Jacob recently ended his first soccer season. The wet weather resulted in fewer practices and a lot of make-up games but he really enjoyed it. Gordon bravely coached 13 four and five year olds. Jacob really got the hang of it and enjoyed getting in the mix of it to get his share of kicks in. He may have a future as a goalie too as long as they call fouls on the kids trying to kick the ball while the goalie has it stopped (this was the one problem we had with the referees).

Megan's Performance Awards 2013
Megan's ballet studio had a judge come from New York City to critique the girls in the ballet studio. It was considered their spring recital but all the students in the same age group performed the same dance but individually. Megan was the youngest to receive a gold medal and the majority received silver medals. She did amazing and has no fear performing in front of large groups of people.
Anna's Spring Recital 2013
Anna has really enjoyed learning to play the piano. She has been taking lessons for 8 months now.

Halloween 2012
This is the first year the kids didn't want to coordinate or be part of the same theme. Jacob was a robot, "DANGER! NEED MORE CANDY!". Megan was a paper doll and Anna chose to be a washing machine. Next year, less bulkiness more fabric. (Owen was a baby carrot, I will add a picture later)

Another day at the office for Jacob
I feel like I couldn't have survived without my mom's help during the first week of Owen's life.
You can often find Owen being comforted by his big sister, Anna, in this same chair, many times a day.
Megan's spring recital
The recital was forced inside due to a storm were Megan transformed into a beautiful butterfly.
A trip to Deanna Rose Farmstead with our friend Ethan.

Last Day of School
Anna with her 2nd grade teacher Ms. Combs
Megan with her kindergarten teacher Mrs. Pierce
The girls are sad to leave their teachers but excited to be another grade higher. We are so proud of them and everything they have improved on academically and more. These special teachers make them want to come to school everyday and make learning fun. They know how much we trust them with our girls so they make the most of their time together.

Blessing Day
2 months old
The first few months of a new baby's life is full of a lot of sleeping and a lot of eating. Owen is no exception and now we are enjoying his smiles and happy sounds as well. At his 2 month check-up he weighed in at 13 lbs. and is still sporting a big head according to those national growth charts. Definitely not abnormal in our family because we need lots of room for our big brains!!
We love this cute face, our family wouldn't be complete without him.
